Foreclose or Short Sale in San Diego?

If you happen to be one of the many homeowners in San Diego County who is underwater with your home, i.e. owe more than it is worth and are also in some sort of financial trouble or have an adjustment coming up on your interest rate, or have to move cities for work etc. then a short sale is a good possibility. Instead of going into foreclosure and having your credit ruined, rather opt for a short sale. It is way better for the banks as they don’t lose as much money and way better for you. Even if you have a home equity line of credit in addition to your mortgage, the possibility of being able to short both of the loans is very high. You do not have to pay for anything!

The banks have gotten far more efficient in handling the short sales, but it can still take a few months.

My suggestion is to contact me for an assessment and see if it is a possibility for you. Another word of advice is even if you cannot keep making the mortgage payments, try everything in your power to keep paying the property taxes and homeowner association fees, as those are 2 things which can really put a crimp in the process. Also, don’t allow the home or the yard to go to ruin. Remember that 90% of short sales get completed.

As a resident of San Diego, my falmiy and I enjoy visiting the San Diego Zoo to visit the exotic animals. We also like to visit Seaworld to learn about all the marine animals and mammals. Lego Land is another fun place to go. My favorite ride is the large firetrucks while racing them back and forth against others. Balboa Park is probably the place that has the most variety in one place. We can visit the world by going to the international homes, listen to some music at the organ cathedral; we also enjoy the Japanese garden. Another fun thing to do is board the U.S Midway Carrier. I think the most recent taping of American Idol filmed on the ship. Finally, the beaches are great. There are many to choose from such as Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Imperial Beach, or just head west on the 8 freeway and follow the signs that say beach.
