I have been doing more listings this year than the last few years, as opposed to representing buyers. Being the listing agent is great as I enjoy getting a home ready to market and getting the house sold. I am very interested and know quite a bit about getting a home ready and have knowledge of the most up-to-date trends in design. It is a lot of fun to change things around in a house to make it look more marketable.  It is a seller’s market and the solds prove it.

The sold market in Rancho Penasquitos has been very good with prices either getting to the 2007 highs or exceeding them. This is mainly due to the lack of inventory and low interest rates and of course the extremely great neighborhood and schools in this zip code 92129. A similar situation is happening in Scripps Ranch (92131) and Rancho Bernardo (92127/92128). Generally solds have been higher throughout the San Diego area. To prove this, I sold 3 homes as the listing agent in the last 3 months. 2 Of them sold within 1 day of being on the market. I got full price for both of them. The other home sold within the first week and got close to asking price.
